Just like any other mini split heat pump, the Trane mini split pump have two main components: an outdoor compressor and an indoor air-handling unit. A conduit, which houses the power cable, suction tubing, refrigerant tubing and a condensate drain, links the outdoor and indoor units. The Main power is supplied to the outdoor unit.

The indoor unit draws its power from the outdoor unit. The system is operated by a wireless remote control. Simply set the remote control to the desired temperature and the system maintains the desired temperature.
